Novel Nuggets Publishers (“Novel Nuggets”, “we”, “us”) is an author-services publishing house based at Plot No 47, Vishram Nagar, Nari Road, Nagpur – 440026, Maharashtra, India. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal data when you use this website or contact us about publishing your book.

2. Information we collect

Manuscript enquiry form (hosted by Typeform): your full name, WhatsApp number, working title, genre, manuscript status and your cover idea.
Conversations with us: messages you send by WhatsApp or email, including your phone number and anything you choose to share.
If you become an author: the details needed to deliver our services and pay royalties, such as your postal address, tax details and bank account information, plus the manuscript files you send us.
Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical information (IP address, browser type, pages requested) in server logs.

This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add them, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires.

3. How we use your information

To reply to your enquiry and talk to you about your book.
To assess your manuscript and recommend a publishing pathway.
To deliver publishing, distribution and royalty services you have chosen.
To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
To keep our website and services secure.

We process personal data with your consent (for example, when you submit the form or message us) or for other lawful purposes permitted by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and we may need to keep some records as required by law.

We share data only with service providers who help us operate, such as Typeform (form hosting), WhatsApp and Meta (messaging), our web-hosting provider, and payment, accounting or logistics providers when you buy services. Retail and distribution platforms receive the book details (title, author name, description) needed to list your book. We do not sell your personal data.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for, and for the period the law requires for tax and accounting records.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to give you access to your personal data, correct it, erase it, or stop using it, and you may make a complaint about how we handle it. Write to us at the address below and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 without the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian. Where a young author publishes with us, we work with their parent or guardian.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Third-party links

Our website links to other sites and services, such as Amazon, Typeform and WhatsApp. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
